The Buzz

UPDATE:  The E4000 model is no longer available.  Check out the new Vision Fitness exercise bikes for comparable ones to choose from.

The Vision E4000 upright exercise bike has moving arm handlebars that move forward and back in a rowing motion to provide an upper body workout.

As the pedals work separately, you can also lock the handlebars in place if you prefer not to use them. However, the purpose of the dual-action bike is to take advantage of the benefits this exercise provides for the arms, shoulders, back, and chest.

The ECB cable-operated system has a permanent magnet for smooth adjustable resistance, and the drive train is a chain and Poly-V belt design.

Other features of the Vision E4000 include the plush Comfort Arc™ upright seat, an adjustable steel seat post, a maximum user weight capacity of 300 pounds, double-sided strapless pedals, and a solid warranty.

Our Take

These types of bikes make a great addition to any home gym as they can effectively give you a total body workout, eliminating the need for duplicate equipment such as a rower.

The $999 Vision E4000 Dual-Action upright bike is a beautiful model and the perfect solution for someone who wants the benefit of a dual-action bike but prefers the quiet of magnetic resistance to an open fan flywheel design.
